I am Erin Borchard, a former elite springboard/platform diver (NCAA Champion and multi-year All-American at Stanford University, former member of the US National Diving Team, and two-time competitor at the US Olympic Team Trials), specializing in personal and small group training sessions. I am also a Phi Beta Kappa student with a B.A. in Human Biology; my strong science background is an ever present influence shaping and changing my training philosophy.

Heavin' the Uneven Bar




EQUIPMENT: Uneven Barbell (i.e. 45 lb. bar + a 10 lb. bumper and a 15 lb. bumper), Rings, Pull-Up Bar, Rower

WARM-UP:
*200m Jog Fwd. there/ Bkwd. back
*10 reps ea. of two active stretches
*200m Jog Fwd. there/ Bkwd. back
*10 reps ea. of two active stretches
*200m Jog Fwd. there/ Bkwd. back

6 Rounds (alt. heavy/ light side ea. round) -
*200m Run
*5 x Uneven Hang Power Clean (w/ unevenly loaded barbell)
*5 x Uneven Push Press/ Jerk

TABATA #1: 
*8 Rounds of 20 sec. ON/ 10 sec. OFF: Deadhang Toes-to-Bar

SET #2:
6 Rounds (alt. heavy/ light side ea. round) -
*10 x Burpee-Lateral Bar Hop
*5 x Uneven Hang Power Clean
*5 x Uneven Push Press/ Jerk

TABATA #2:
*8 Rounds of 20 sec. ON/ 10 sec. OFF: Ring Row (challenge: Ring Row + Tuck-In)

SET #3:
6 Rounds (alt. heavy/ light side ea. round) -
*200m Row
*5 x Uneven Hang Power Clean
*5 x Uneven Push Press/ Jerk
