No matter what your current fitness level or former athletic experience, you can learn to train like an Olympic-caliber athlete. I am Erin Borchard, a former elite springboard/platform diver (NCAA Champion and multi-year All-American at Stanford University, former member of the US National Diving Team, and two-time competitor at the US Olympic Team Trials), specializing in personal and small group training sessions. I am also a Phi Beta Kappa student with a B.A. in Human Biology; my strong science background is an ever present influence shaping and changing my training philosophy.

Gettin' the Most Out of One Minute


EQUIP: Barbell, Bumper Plates of various sizes, Slam Ball (30/20), Jump Rope

WARM-UP:
*Active Stretch

3 Rounds -
*100 x Jump Rope Singles
*10 x Squat-Thrust

SET #1:
5 Rounds -
*Within 1 Minute: 10 x Bodyweight Deadlift (use your own bodyweight as your guide)
*1 Minute x max reps of Ring Push-Ups

SET #2:
4 Rounds -
*Within 1 Minute: 12 x Thruster (95/65)(use your "Fran" weight as your guide)
*1 Minute x max reps of Pull-Ups (mod: Ring Row)

SET #3:
3 Rounds -
*Within 1 Minute: 20 x Ball Slam (30/20)
*1 Minute x max reps of Side-to-Side Rolling Slam Ball Push-Up

SET #4/ FINISHER:
5 Min. AMRAP -
*200m Run
*Max L-Sit Hold (challenge: atop rings)
