I am Erin Borchard, a former elite springboard/platform diver (NCAA Champion and multi-year All-American at Stanford University, former member of the US National Diving Team, and two-time competitor at the US Olympic Team Trials), specializing in personal and small group training sessions. I am also a Phi Beta Kappa student with a B.A. in Human Biology; my strong science background is an ever present influence shaping and changing my training philosophy.

"The Man Breaker"



EQUIPMENT: Dumbbells (20s), Mat, Jump Rope

WARM-UP:
A) Active Stretches (Toe-Hold Squat, Mantis, Side-to-Side Lunge, Quads)

B) 4 min. x Jump Rope (singles and double-unders)
-Every Minute On the Minute (EMOM): 4 x Inchworm to 1 Push-Up
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MAIN SET:
Get as far through the chipper below as possible within 45 minutes 
THE “CATCH:” Every Minute On the Minute (EMOM) 2x DB Man Maker
  • 100 x Double-Under (sub: Singles)
  • 100 x Air Squat
  • 100 x Push-Up
  • 100 x DB Push Press
  • 100 x Double-Under
  • 100 x Walking Lunge (challenge: Lunge Jump)
  • 100 x Broad Jump
  • 100 x Pistol (50 ea. leg)
  • 100 x Anchored DB Sit-Up (1 DB on feet, 1 DB glued to chest)
  • 100 x Double-Under

(In 45 minutes, I was able to get through 75 of the sit-ups.  Rough stuff!!!)
