No matter what your current fitness level or former athletic experience, you can learn to train like an Olympic-caliber athlete. I am Erin Borchard, a former elite springboard/platform diver (NCAA Champion and multi-year All-American at Stanford University, former member of the US National Diving Team, and two-time competitor at the US Olympic Team Trials), specializing in personal and small group training sessions. I am also a Phi Beta Kappa student with a B.A. in Human Biology; my strong science background is an ever present influence shaping and changing my training philosophy.

Equip: Rower, Barbell (I used 75 lb.)

WARM-UP:
*Dynamic Stretches across the length of the room
     -w/ 4 lengths of Shuttle Run b/w ea. assignment

     *3 x Bear Complex (power clean to thruster to behind-the-neck thruster)
     *3 x Curtis P (power clean to front lunge R and L)
     *3 x Hang Power Snatch to Overhead Squat
*300m Run


FINISHER (which we didn't even have time to complete):
3 Rounds of -
*30 x KB Swing (1.0 pood)
*30 x Squat-Thrust
*30 x DB Push Press (25 lb)
